As a popular author and lecturer, Frank Daignault brings over 45 years of fishing and hunting experience to Fine Fishing Magazine. He has been writing about both since 1970. His articles have appeared in Field and Stream, Outdoor Life, Salt Water Sportsman, Fishing World, Shotgun Sports, the Fisherman Papers and a host of other national and regional publications.

Frank's third book on striper fishing, Striper Hot Spots, was released October '93 and reprinted a few months later. His other two books on striped bass fishing -- Twenty Years on the Cape: My Time as a Surfcaster and Striper Surf which is going into its third printing -- have stormed salt water fishing. He was honored in 1983 by the Daiwa Corporation for his efforts to attract youngsters to fishing. In 1990, both the Outdoor Writers of America and the New England Outdoor Writers presented him with awards for writing excellence.

Frank Daignault was born in Woonsocket R.I. and is a retired Johnston (RI) teacher. He holds both Bachelors and Masters degrees from R.I. College.
